FOR THE SAKE OF HITTING 'PUBLISH'

Today I am writing in honor of hitting 'publish'.

Do you ever feel like you are itching to write, but you don't have anything to write about that anybody cares about? Or, stuff is happening, but you don't wanna share it with the world? (Even though, if you are me, The World is clearly not reading your blog. Your friends and a handful of strangers are.)

Anyhoo. Today's post is a stream-of-consciousness-for-the-sake-of-hitting-publish-and-scratching-the-itch. And, there probably won't even be any good pictures. Blogger fail.

Sonic - today I got a great big ass Diet Coke with Diet Cherry syrup. And they put a cherry on top. Love. And, I could enjoy it with the windows down. Kind of. I cut my hair short, and with the work I did and the product I used, I didn't want to tear that shit up and start all over, so I drove around with my windows just cracked, and wondered if a deputy was going to follow me because my brother put gangsta tint on my windows.

I have been feeding some old addictions:
1) Diet Mt. Dew Gyahhh, it's like the devil, I'm tellin' you. It's so cold (in a can, pref), fizzy, and just the right joltage of caffeine.
2) Vintage linens. I use legit new fitted sheets, but otherwise, I have become obsessed with vintage flat sheets and pillow cases. At least I am using them, and no one's body is suffering from too much citrus, fake coloring, fake flavoring, and aspartame, right?
3) Short hair. I cut it once several months ago. Then, I cut it shorter. Then, I got her to shorten the back even more so I could just throw pomade in it and flip it up and be out. I'm in love. Feels like me.

I threw this up on the Davis General Store Facebook page for #tbt.
I don't feel like I should have to write anything else about this picture.

I was going to talk about how I'm over winter. But, duh. Everybody is, right? Bring it, spring. Even IF I have to live off Zyrtek.

Other thoughts:
My toes are cold.

I always dread ordering pump supplies even though all you have to do is log in, check off the same shit as last time, and hit submit. Why do I hate it so? Anyway, I ordered them. And I feel very accomplished.

There is a Christmas ornament on our desk, just above where I am typing right now. He is a crawfish lobster (?) wearing a Santa hat. I found him some place random and have still not put him with the rest of the Christmas decorations. I think I kind of like him.

The word 'titillating' sounds gross. And it kind of is, I guess.

I'm tired of writing now.

I've missed you! So even if you did it just to hit publish, I'm glad.

Your hair is fierce!
