Sooo, y'all know Alexa over at Southern Living, Our Way?
Well, she lives like ten minutes away. So, duh, we decided we should meet up. I made a good first impression by talking about tits via text before meeting up for lunch. Yep, definitely meant tots.
Neither of us took any pictures. Are we the worst bloggers ever or what?
Turns out we both went through some crazy I-got-married-and-now-I-wanna-legally-change-my-name-like-at-the-courthouse-and-shit drama. If you are a chick who goes by your middle name and you wanna drop your first one, good luck with that shit. Alexa kept 'em all, added one in, and even did some creative rearranging with her name, y'all.  I just sold a kidney and paid off Congress to get rid of my first name altogether. We both talked 900 miles a minute about marriage, ending up in Charlotte, people who refuse to call you by your damn name and why alcohol is just sometimes not enough.
If you don't know her yet, you should.
Here's a preview:

Told ya. Now run on over there and say hey.

I wore my new boots to lunch today, and while we were out, I had three compliments on them, one of which involved a chick comin' over, sittin' down beside us and askin' me where the boots came from {Dillard's}, were they real leather {umm, yeah, think so}, how much were they {on sale for $99},
and could she touch em {sure}?
So, I thought, hell, I will tell the worrrrrrrrrld all about 'em.
People at Dillard's are sneaky though, because they were only displayin' the dark brown ones. Shame.
And the link I found has every color known to man except this one, but it's the best I could do, shugs.

1 - After I got home & filled hubs' head with all the deliciousness of my bloggy-friend-meet up, we decided to make a small dent in all the shiz we ate all weekend. Couples who workout in red pants together, stay together.
2 - Turns out the southern states aren't the only ones producing rednecks.
PS, dude had factory tires on his "lifted" truck. #smallpeniscomplex
3 - Saw this shugpie and his friend while we were out.
4 - Football absorption resumed immediately upon our return.
Anybody wanna buy us a new TV?

I hope you ladies had a magical weekend!

Fabulous mantle photo. I love those boots but have calf claustrophobia issues like the crazy person I am so I avoid knee high boots.

I love when I see things like that small penis haver's truck. I always try to snap a pic.

Great weekend!

Sounds like y'all had a blast! I need to go visit her blog more. I love those boots, I think I picked those out in brown at Dillard's and they didn't have the gray ones sitting out.

The best part was "I just sold a kidney and paid off Congress to get rid of my first name altogether."

Girl, you have better manners than me. I would have forgot mine and said something smart like, " For 99 they better be real... Can you touch Jesus..."

Glad you had fun though.

haha i love that a random stranger asked to touch your boots. lol. I get loving something a person is wearing but the need to caress it i don't! I always forget to take pics when I meet up with other bloggers, i don't know it doesn't seem natural to whip out your camera for a perfect stranger, you know?!

She sure looks like fun :) I wish some of my blog friends only lived 10 minutes away. We took our tree down this past weekend too and it wasn't fun at all.
