God made a farmer, y'all.

And He gave me an awesome FIL who lets {?} me come clean, organize and decorate his old general store.

I'm still alive.
And still busy.
The store and I have been spendin' a lot of time together.
It is in need of some love.
Bonus, I get to hang out with fabulous shugpies like this while I'm there:

And then there's The Hardware Show.
There is somethin' magical about old men in tall ball caps talkin' about seed spreaders and mouse traps and cast iron cookware.

And I've had to help clean up some messes.

But, I still love y'all.
What can I say? My B.
Sometimes life happens.

PS - the best thing about The Super Bowl?

This commercial:

Way to have the nuts to mention God in a Super Bowl commercial.
And farmers.
Some people make fun of schools like State and Clemson {among others}.
I wanna know where the hell y'all think your food comes from.

Deuces for now.

Absolutely LOVE this! My boyfriend went to State and majored in Ag. Business AND my granddaddy was a farmer! It was definitely my favorite commercial!

Best commercial ever, I loved it! I have an Agricultural Communications degree and it always blows my mind how uneducated some people are about agriculture and where the hell they get their food. Your FIL is soo cute! Once I find this video one of my professors showed me once I am sending it to you!

I did not even watch the Super Bowl even for the commercials and half time show as I usually do. This commercial is awesome! We need more commercials like this! BTW- Paul Harvey is the BOMB{dot}COM!

This commercial almost had me in tears. I heard on the radio this morning it almost didn't air. It was tested using teachers and soldiers but they went with farmers instead. People really don't realize. The university I graduated from is known for it's Agriculture and farm programs. We have some of the only programs in the state. I love me some farmers. They give me food and my family was farmers back in the day.

I grew and sold produce for a few summers for college $$ and let me tell you, that shiz don't just magically just show up at the walmart lookin all shiny. Great commercial and I hope it gets people to thinking!
